William  A. Galerston

For more than 20 years, Texas native William “Billy” Galerston has cultivated a national practice litigating personal injuries, launching his career as a defense attorney in Houston before emerging in 1997 as a strong advocate for workers suffering from asbestos-related illnesses.

Billy has extensive knowledge of the development, manufacturing and widespread use of asbestos-containing products. His expertise spans asbestos in insulating products on equipment to internal components, including its pervasive use aboard U.S. Navy ships, in power generation, and throughout the construction industry. 

He has taken hundreds of depositions from corporate representatives and has extensive experience working with and against experts on both sides of the docket.

Billy is a former legal analyst for Fox Channel 26 News in Houston; active in the Boy Scout’s Venture Scouting program with his son who is studying history and Russian in college; and attending his college-bound daughter’s color guard competitions. He and his wife enjoy a variety of North Texas outdoor activities including cycling, kayaking and walking the dogs.
